Steel material characteristics
1. High strength
- Steel structural materials have high strength and can withstand large loads. Compared with the concrete structure, the steel structure has a lighter weight, which can reduce the load of the foundation.
- The characteristics of high strength make the portal frame steel structure under the same load conditions, the section size of the members can be smaller, thus saving materials and space.
2. Good plasticity
- Steel has good plasticity and can be formed by cold working or hot working to meet the design requirements of different shapes and sizes.

3. Poor corrosion resistance
